Shoes tell stories, paths, labyrinths, giving us an intimate and sincere “portrait” of
the resilience of the people who have chosen, worn and deformed them.
They protect, wrap the foot and their contact with the ground connects the body to the mind, the earth to the sky. They are a symbol of seduction, of an, imagined, mysterious "nudity". The naked body is therefore not represented in a conventional way, but through objects/pretexts, shoes in this case, which reveal the sensuality and beauty of the forms.
